Remember This?????

Finished at last!!!!!!

Just before Christmas I stopped working on it and just couldn't seem to get back into it.
But I'm pleased to say I pulled myself together and have now finished it.
Here are some of the colour details.

The colours are abit deeper than in the photos.
And our cat Bo loves it and seems to think I made it just for her.

However, I didn't, it's for our granddaughter Elizabeth.
So I'll be sending it to her tomorrow together with my ripple blanket (above) which I'm giving to my daughter Sarah (Elizabeth's Mum).
I'm so glad it's finished at last!!!!

Some Inspiration

Today I have been working on flowers for the flower blankets.
Hopefully I'll be able to get some good photos of them both over the coming days.
Seems like I'm back in the swing of things and enjoying crocheting again.

I also hope to get more of this blanket done soon.
The inspiration for this blanket came from Wood & Wool Stool a blog I just love.

You Should Be Crocheting!!!!

All my posts in January were about projects I started on in 2012 and will finish in 2013.
There were four posts, so four to finish projects right!! Wrong!! there is another project that I started just before Christmas.
It's another flower blanket that someone asked me to make for them (photos to follow).

So today I decided to go through the projects so that I know where I am with them.
That's one of the problems when you start stuff and then stop for a while, you can forget where you are.
Anyway there is good news I've got it sorted and now know were I am with them all, and I wrote myself notes to make sure I remember lol.
I feel like I've been flirting with my projects so far this year, a flower here a flower there, no real work getting done.

I found this online a while ago and I had to think about it a number of times today.
Maybe I should hang it up somewhere as a reminder.

A great reminder don't you think!!

Projects I Started In 2012 and Want To Finish In 2013 Part 4

I still haven't finished my multi-coloured Japanese Flower blanket yet.

Somewhere in October I just put down my hook and I couldn't seem to get back into it again.

There is not so far to go really I'll be getting back to it soon.

 

2013 is going to be a great crochet year!! Finishing old projects and planning new ones.

Well, to be honest I already have a couple planned already.
