A Tale of Two Blankets

Two Blankets???
Yes Two.
I am working on two blankets at the moment, and once again I am using yarn that I already have.
The first blanket is my Granny Log Cabin Blanket.

I'm making this one from the yarn I used when I tried to make my grey blanket that didn't turn out right.
The Granny Log Cabin is a great, it's really fun to do.

And before Christmas I bought the yarn to make my oldest daughter a blanket for a Christmas present.
And that one didn't turn out right either.
So, I am using that yarn to make a Vintage Stripe Blanket for my daughter now.
What I love about the vintage stripe pattern is that you don't have to count the stitches all the time.
It's great to do while watching a film on T.V.
