I stopped working on my last big granny square blanket for my granddaughter Katie.
When I say stopped I mean for a while then, just for the hoildays.
I want all three of the blankets finished so that I can give them to them in September.
Two are already finished and Katie's one is bigger now than it was in this photo.
So in a couple of weeks time I'll pull myself together and finish it.
Mean while I have started a new project.
A wonderfully colourful ripple blanket.
I love it!!!!
oh yes, this blanket will look wonderful, I think. Lovely colors!
ReplyDeleteOooh, this looks good!! Can't wait to see it finished!

Love these! I so would love to try making a ripple afghan. I am now working on an African flower hexagon blanket but am not sure I have anywhere near enough yarn. I ordered it with the Drops summer sale. I am also teaching myself Tunisian crochet now...fun and exciting to see if it comes out. My first vest I have made. Do you do this kind of crochet too?

Thanks so much for the lovely comments everyone.
ReplyDeleteI did buy a Tunisian Crochet hook this year Heidi, but I haven't made anything with it yet just had a little try out so far, so I hope to do more with it soon.
Lovely colors in the ripple! I think a adult version for myself, would be delightful in these colors.
