Getting Hooked (again) part 2

So when I moved to Holland I just couldn't believe all the wonderful crochet patterns and books they had here.
They also had a lot of German ones too.
So I filet crochet curtains which I taught myself to do.

One of the patterns I used for the kids room was something like in the picture.

Only my curtain had quite a few elephants all facing the same way holding each others tails.
That was over 25 years ago (doesn't time fly) so I haven't crochet for years now.
So now that I have more time on my hands I want to start again.
So I have ordered yarn and a hook, which will hopefully arrive tomorrow.
I am going to make Granny Squares which I love by the way.

So I will keep you posted how it all goes.
